Here is my water proofing man sealing the shower cubical the whole floor and areas around the bath and vanity. A hob wall should be used for timber floor houses.

Tiling and grouting
Tip. Its always a good idea to have two to three extra boxes of tiles just in case you need to change more then a few.
I like to use chrome edging on all corners. If you trip and fall you don’t hit a sharp edge.
The Result
I was happy with the out come. The colours worked well and it gave the bathroom a totally new feel.
Task/Process and Result
I was asked by a builder if I could demolish a part of the building that he was going to do a major renovation on. The block was split and the building had to be shifted.
We had to clean out everything from under the house disconnecting all the services. The deck was to be cut back to the internal walls as you will see from the photos. Asbestos had to be stripped out and the house decontaminated before we could start demolishing. Unfortunately I only have few photos but you can see the job at hand. This job was done in a few days with three people.
Selecting Colours / Grains
The existing floor was good in this case, but sometimes ply can be placed as a base to the tongue and groove flooring your installing, if necessary. Choosing the colours and grains is important to make the floor uniform.
Cutting The Floor Boards
When cutting, make sure you stagger all the joint locations. Choose the number you want then start cutting those measurements. Also, as a rule of thumb, always check the squareness of the area and level of the floor before you start.
Installation
I used a secret nail gun to fix the floor boards with Liquid Nails. The floorboards must be placed tight and, where required for expansion, fishing line used for a gap guide.
The Job
I was asked by a former neighbour if I could assist them in their renovations. They had fully gutted their new house in Moorooka internally and needed carpentry work done,walls moved, windows installed, ceiling and wall plastering as well as the finishing off being skirting, architrave and doors. I didn’t take many photos; I only have a few.
Task
The house and deck were out of level and the deck was unsafe. The client wanted a double garage and a path to the front door entry. The build was off the plan.
Task
The pool area was an area that was not used. It was always full of weeds and the owner wanted to make it functional and appealing to the eye. A deck was the practical solution. The deck is built within the pool fenced area.
